Temp Dips, Fatehpur Coldest At 9°celsius | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Majority of the places in the state witnessed a dip in temperature due to clear sky and activation of northerly winds on Sunday. Fatehpur remained coldest where a minimum temperature of 9°C was recorded, the Met reports said.
People in Jaipur woke up to a chilly morning when a minimum temperature of 15.6°C was recorded. It was followed by an afternoon with cold breeze having a maximum temperature of 29.6°C. With the changes in weather, people during early morning and late evening were seen with their woollens and jackets. “There has been a dip of almost 5°C since the start of this week. In the coming days, there would be further dip in mercury in Jaipur,” said an officer with the Jaipur Met office.
People visiting parks were seen in woollens during early morning and evenings due to the continued dip in the mercury in Jaipur. Since no fog was witnessed the air, road and rail traffic from Jaipur and other parts of the state was smooth. Churu recorded a minimum temperature of 10.3°C followed by Sikar 11°C, Chittorgarh 11.3°C, Bhilwara 11.4°C, Kota 12°C, Pilani and Udaipur 12.6°C each, Alwar 13°C, Vanasthali 13.5°C, Jodhpur 13.8°C, Ajmer 13.9°C and Bikaner 15.1°C.
Jaipur Met office further stated that in hilly areas in the country snowfall is witnessed which has further activated the northerly winds.
