Robbers Thrash Man, Snatch Car | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: A man who had posted a newspaper advertisement wanting to sell his car was duped by robbers who assaulted him at Kanchanpur police station area of Dholpur on Thursday.
According to sources, the robbers contacted him through the phone number he had mentioned in the advertisement and called him to Babu Maharaj village in Kanchanpur under Badi police station area to check his car. When he reached there with his vehicle, robbers thrached him and took his car. However, eight hours later, police recovered his vehicle though the robbers are still at large.
“The victim identified as Ravi said he was asked to bring the vehicle to Kanchapur. When he had gone to the location, two persons engaged him in talks related to vehicle when another four persons came on a bike, thrashed him and later robbed his vehicle,” said an officer of Dholpur on Friday.
Soon after the incident, police tightened security in the district.
